  1. Talk Radio Storyline: An acerbic radio talk show host based in Dallas starts what could be an important few days when he discovers that his controversial late night show is about to be "picked up" by a nationwide network of radio stations. However, all is not perfect for him, because on top of troubles with his love life and fears that the management of the network will try to alter the content of his show he has to cope with a neo-nazi group who have been angered by his forthright opinions.

  2. For the fourth year in a row, DeBaun Center for Performing Arts, in conjunction with St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, is proud to present the Messiah Sing Concert on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, Eighth and Hudson Sts. in Hoboken, NJ.

The concert will be a sing-in version of Handel’s “Messiah” featuring the Stevens Choir, led by Bethany Reeves, and local soloists Jennifer Behnke, LaTanya Hutchins, Sheena Ramirez and James Splond. Concert-goers can either come to sing along to selections from the “Messiah” with the choir and soloists as they perform, or just sit back, relax and listen to the beautiful music. Piano accompaniment will be given by Meg Zervoulis throughout the concert and finishing with the “Hallelujah Chorus,” accompanied on the organ by Richard Brode, St. Matthew’s Musical Director. Participants are encouraged to bring their own music if they already own it; otherwise limited copies will be available at the door. Come to sing or just to listen—no reservations are necessary. Refreshments will be served in the church social hall following the concert.

The Messiah Sing Concert is a free event, but donations are being accepted at the concert to benefit the church’s Lunch Time Ministry. Four mornings a week, St. Matthew Trinity’s Parish Hall becomes an oasis for those who need a nourishing meal and a place to sit with friends. Supported by donations and staffed by volunteers, the Lunch Time Ministry provides food and welcome up to 100 guests each day it is open.
